Mr. Victor Makris graduated from the University of Houston Law Center and was licensed in Texas in 1977. He founded the firm in 1978.

During a college semester, Mr. Makris served as congressional intern in Washington, D.C. He was also law clerk for Rogers & Wells, New York, N.Y., before graduating from law school. He became Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1993, and is a former member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.

He is a Board Member of the Southwest YMCA and was its recipient of the 2000 Volunteer of the Year Award.

Michael Makris graduated in the top sixteen percent of his class from South Texas College of Law in 1995.

During Law School, he worked as an intern in the Special Crimes Division of the Harris County District Attorney's Office. Immediately after being licensed as an attorney by the Supreme Court of Texas, Mr. Makris was sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney by former District Attorney Johnny Holmes, Jr. He spent the following four years serving as a Harris County Prosecutor in the Trial Division, fighting for the rights of Texas crime victims. Shortly thereafter, he joined the firm.

Mr. Makris now exclusively handles Social Security Disability cases, as he puts his extensive trial experience to work for disabled individuals.

Mr. Dulevitz is a 1992 graduate of the University of Houston Law School. He was licensed as an attorney in the state of Texas in 1993.

His previous experience includes practicing law at John L. Webb & Associates law firm, as an appellate attorney for the Harris County District Attorney office from 2000 to 2001, and as a solo practitioner. While in solo practice, he concentrated in the areas of small business matters, family law, and criminal defense.

He joined our firm in 2001, where he assists us in all of the firm’s practice areas.
